We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / Architect to join a pioneering team working at the intersection of manufacturing and industrial AI. In this role, you will be the technical foundation for deploying and scaling advanced data platforms within complex manufacturing environments.
 

You will work directly with customers to design and implement data architectures that handle everything from high-frequency sensor telemetry and MES event streams to transactional ERP records and aggregated analytics models. Each deployment is unique, giving you the opportunity to apply your technical expertise to real-world industrial challenges while influencing the development of a cutting-edge data platform.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead technical onboarding of new customers, assessing ERP, MES, SCADA, and IoT data landscapes.

• Define canonical data models and implement scalable integration pipelines.

• Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines handling irregular sampling, late-arriving data, and industrial data constraints.

• Recommend data architecture patterns (lakehouse, streaming, edge-to-cloud) tailored to each customer environment.

• Support pre-sales and advisory, translating technical complexity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR​​

• 7+ years in data engineering or architecture, ideally in industrial/OT environments.

• Experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle), MES/SCADA systems, and industrial protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus).

• Strong SQL and Python skills; distributed processing (Spark) a plus.

• Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Azure Synapse) and orchestration frameworks (Airflow, dbt).

• Customer-facing experience with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• SAP PM/PP/QM experience.
